What does the Call A Pet index actually unlock?
A permanent income boost for completing a zone’s roster. That is the entire official reward sentence. No published percent, no stacking formula beyond “per zone.”
Why TBA percents
Until the HUD prints +X% we will not invent 5%. The table stays empty on purpose. Cash still ticks from placed pets without a full Index — the boost is extra, not the only income.
What counts as discovering a Call A Pet pet?
Listing language is discover every pet in a zone. Recaps treat a successful hatch that appears in the collection as the check. Exact rules for “seen vs owned” are TBA.
Which Call A Pet index should I finish first?
Forest. You can already reach it. Savannah Index waits on ~1k speed. Desert waits on ~50k. Completing Forest while you mill toward Savannah is free overlap.

A dead carry wastes more time than a missing late Index. Speed first: progression.
Do Secret pets block a Call A Pet index?
Unknown. If a zone Index includes Cerberus, Anubis, or Yeti, that slot may stay empty until the hunt succeeds. If Secrets are a separate collection, Forest can still complete without them.

Do Golden copies fill the Call A Pet index twice?
Not published. Golden and Rainbow are income variants of a species. Assume one Index tick per species until the HUD shows otherwise.

A Golden Forest pet is a better earner even if Index already checked that species. Park it. Sell the normal duplicate.
